Creativity at its finest. The client had a very specific vision, turn an existing 1950’s home into an office space for current use with the ability to convert it back into a forever home. An addition was added to the existing structure to create a boardroom and secure storage space for the office. When the business is retired, this extension will be converted to the master bedroom and ensuite adding an additional bedroom and bathroom. The transition from boardroom to bedroom can be done with minimal construction work due to the forethought put into the initial design.
Absolute is rich with original detail throughout. Creek Stone reused and repurposed much of the existing structure and materials to maintain the character of the original home. A brick barrel entry way, corrugated metal cover a wall and reception desk, repurposed shiplap on the office ceilings, reused roll shutter and vintage appliances are some of the highlights of this build. Every detail from the threaded black iron pipe furniture accents to the gate latch matching the interior design was thought of. The final product was a beautiful, industrial farmhouse feel with a retro twist.
